Ashwagandha is an evergreen shrub that grows in Asia and Africa. It is commonly used for stress. There is little evidence for its use as an "adaptogen." Ashwagandha contains chemicals that might help calm the brain, reduce swelling, lower blood pressure, and alter the immune system.

Instructions to Make Tea:

Add 1-2 teaspoons of ashwagandha root to 8 oz of boiling temperature water

Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes

For best results, use filtered water (water can really affect the taste of the tea if it is not filtered)

You can also add organic honey as a sweetner if you so desire
